There is a legal guarantee on all jewellery and watches that you buy from Zinzi via this webstore. The warranty starts on the date that the jewellery was purchased, which is stated in the warranty certificate that comes with your order.
To make a claim under the legal guarantee, if the jewellery has been purchased on Zinzi.nl, Zinzi.com, Zinzi.de or Zinzi.be, you can return the jewellery to Zinzi with the packing slip and the warranty certificate provided. If a complaint or defect falls within the warranty, Zinzi will make sure to resolve the problem. If you are in doubt as to whether the defect is covered by the warranty conditions, you can contact Zinzi customer service via firstname.lastname@example.org.

When the jewellery has been purchased from a Zinzi dealer, you can contact them. They will work with you to find a suitable solution for your jewellery or watch. The warranty terms and conditions can be found under the header 'warranty'.
You will receive a warranty on your Zinzi jewellery. The following rules apply to this:
Silver jewellery comes with a 6-month warranty from the date it was purchased.
Silver jewellery with gold plating has a 3-month warranty from the date that it was purchased. The gold-plated layer is a thin layer of a micron of 14 karat gold, so it will wear out with time and use. Under this layer, there is real sterling silver, so you always keep your silver Zinzi jewellery. This warranty therefore only covers material and manufacturing defects.
The following are not covered by the warranty:
- Breakage (unless it is a demonstrable manufacturing defect).
- Damage due to normal wear and tear, improper use (such as dropping) or misuse.
- Discoloration due to the use of water, perfume, soap, lotion or hairspray.
- Discoloration due to high acidity of the skin.
- Processing by a party other than Zinzi (for example for tailoring a ring).
- Loss of the jewel
In order to enjoy your Zinzi jewellery for a long time, it is important to handle your jewellery with care. Zinzi jewellery is carefully made from beautiful materials, but it remains a piece of jewellery. Always be careful with it.
Important tips for the correct maintenance and use of your Zinzi jewellery:
- Protect your jewellery from scratches and dents.
- Avoid contact between your jewellery and hard surfaces. Don't put it on over a hard floor.
- Remove the jewellery before exercising, doing household or other rough work and when going to sleep or shower.
- Avoid contact between the jewellery and chemicals such as perfume, cleaning agents and agents found in swimming pools.
- Avoid contact between your pearls and cosmetics. Their beautiful shine and colour can be damaged by contact with make-up, hairspray and perfume.
- Do not clean your jewellery with chemicals and do not polish them with a hard cloth.
- Use only lukewarm water, without chemical additives.
- Pearls and silver may discolour due to normal use.
Zinzi jewellery is not suitable for children under 36 months because of the small parts that pose a choking hazard. Zinzi jewellery is not a toy, so keep it away from babies and children!
You will receive a warranty on your Zinzi watch.
Zinzi provides a 24-month warranty on the timepiece from the date you purchased the watch. Any repairs to the watch are free of charge within this warranty period. If the watch is beyond repair, you will receive a new one. The repair costs are for your own account if the damage is caused by your own actions. If you are not sure whether the damage falls within the warranty conditions, you can contact Zinzi customer service via firstname.lastname@example.org.
The following are not covered by the warranty:
- The battery
- Glass damage
- The watch strap
- The crown/screw
- The watch case
- The index (numbers/hands)
